Neste primeiro filme, explicamos o conceito tecnológico do projeto e falamos das oportunidades dessa propsta para o Brasil.

Get to know ProQR - Climate-neutral Alternative Fuel

Find out what it is and how the project ProQr – Climate-neutral Alternative Fuels came about. Learn more about the global challenge of climate change and how ProQr wants to face it: producing Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAFs) with the Power-to-Liquid (PtL) method, in a decentralized and sustainable way. In this first film, we explain the technological concept of the project and talk about the opportunities of this proposal for Brazil.

ProQR Project - Cooperation towards clean aviation

Who better to talk about ProQR than those who work to implement the goals of our project? Our team and partners in Brazil and Germany share their experiences in the second film of our programme. An opportunity to hear about aviation and alternative fuels from those who understand the subject and cooperate to enable the production and use of SAFs in Brazil and around the world.

Projeto ProQR – Ensino e pesquisa para descarbonizar a aviação

Não poderíamos deixar faltar um olhar sobre um dos aspectos mais importantes da atuação do projeto ProQR: nosso trabalho conjunto com a academia. As instituições de ensino e pesquisa brasileiras são espaços para construção do futuro. O desenvolvimento de novas tecnologias, a promoção de um pensamento crítico sobre desenvolvimento sustentável ou a capacitação dos profissionais que atuarão nesse novo mercado. O ProQR acredita que esses são alguns dos passos necessários para que uma tecnologia inovadora como a produção de SAFs se consolidar e alcançar novos horizontes. Por isso, convidamos alguns de nossos parceiros para apresentar um pouco sobre essa frutífera interação, que vem continuamente aumentando o impacto dos combustíveis alternativos na academia brasileira.

ProQR Project - Education and research to decarbonise aviation

We could not leave out one of the most important aspects of the ProQR project's actions: our joint work with the academia. Brazilian educational and research institutions are the spaces where the future is built. The development of new technologies, the promotion of critical thinking on sustainable development or the training of professionals who will work in this new market. ProQR believes that these are some of the necessary steps for an innovative technology such as the production of SAFs to consolidate and reach new horizons. Therefore, we have invited some of our partners to present a little about this fruitful interaction, which has been continuously increasing the impact of alternative fuels in Brazilian academia.

Infográfico animado: Planta Piloto de SAF

Nesta animação mostramos o funcionamento de um modelo de planta piloto para produção de SAFs. O projeto ProQR defende a construção de plantas modulares, localizadas em áreas remotas, mas próximas dos aeroportos. Dessa forma, podem ser facilmente construídas, com suas estações instaladas em contêineres, além de já fornecerem o combustível diretamente em seu local de consumo, em aeroportos paras os quais o transporte de combustível era antes um desafio. A animação também permite visualizar, resumidamente, as etapas de síntese química de um combustível sustentável PtL SAF, que utiliza energias renováveis, gás carbônico e água para produzir SAFs. Vale a pena conferir e compartilhar esse novo insumo didático!

Animated infographic: Pilot Plant for SA

In this animation we show the operation of a model pilot plant for the production of SAFs. The ProQR project advocates the construction of modular plants, located in remote areas, but close to airports. In this way, they can be easily built, with their stations installed in containers, as well as already providing the fuel directly at their place of consumption, in airports to which the transportation of fuel was previously a challenge. The animation also allows you to briefly visualize the chemical synthesis steps of a sustainable PtL SAF fuel, which uses renewable energy, carbon dioxide and water to produce SAFs. It is worth checking and sharing this new didactic input!

Missão Técnica - ILA 2022

Em junho, viajamos para Alemanha numa interessantíssima missão técnica com alguns dos nossos parceiros! Confira os destaques desta visita de capacitação em eletrocombustíveis renováveis para aviação organizada pelo ProQR. Realizada com representantes da academia, governo e iniciativa privada, facilitamos e fortalecemos intercâmbio de conhecimentos sobre aviação limpa entre especialistas dos dois países.  Não poderíamos deixar de compartilhar os melhores momentos dessa jornada, cujos resultados devem impulsionar as parcerias pela descarbonização da aviação.

Technical Mission - ILA 2022

In June, we travelled to Germany on a very interesting technical mission with some of our partners! Check out the highlights of this capacity building visit on renewable electrofuels for aviation organized by ProQR. Held with representatives from academia, government and private enterprise, we facilitated and strengthened knowledge exchange on clean aviation between experts from both countries.  We could not fail to share the best moments of this journey, whose results should boost partnerships for the decarbonisation of aviation.
